Welcome to Green Centre for Alternative Medicine P

INTRODUCTION
Green Centre for Alternative Medicine practitioners is a body born out of the high desire to share health and help people to discover the secret of maintaining good health through nature. The widespread of drugs in the west has given rise to increased toxicity and in some cases even death. Drugs as much importance as they are used in controlling some specific diseases also poses serious side effects. Nature has provided answers to all our questions about wellness through the use of natural alternatives; things that are not chemically created. This centre will help African traditional/alternative medicine practitioners to benefit from our unwavering commitment to quality and research.
Real health care reform has already occurred, regardless of the actions of health care professionals, the health care industry and politicians because so many of us have decided to take back primary responsibility for our own health. Millions started this process with Jogging and other forms of exercises, began to feel better, and started looking at improved diet, along with vitamins and minerals. More recently, herbal remedies and homeopathy have surged in popularity. Meditation, Visualization, Acupuncture, Massage, Chiropractic, Naturopathy, Osteopathy and many other natural health care practices have moved from the fringes to the mainstream of public awareness. While medical doctors are still viewed with respect, they are no longer the only health care authorities, but just one voice among many. More and more of us have decided to stay healthy using our own resources, consulting professionals only when our own efforts have failed, or when we cannot find the necessary information.
There are many reasons for this health care reform, including the limited effectiveness and multiple side effects of drugs, chemotherapy and radiation. The incredible cost of modern high-tech medicine has forced many of us to examine self-care and other more natural alternatives.
In addition, the health revolution is changing the way physicians view nutrition. The perspective of simply treating disease is gradually shifting to prevention through lifestyle modification, emphasizing the importance of diet for optimal health. Inadequate nutrition is linked to some of the most profound diseases of the last half century. These were once believed to be the inevitable consequences of aging-arthritis, senility, diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular diseases and osteoporosis.
Now, manipulating specific nutrients can help treat certain conditions, and eating appropriate foods can reduce the risk of cancer and chronic degenerative diseases.
It is often difficult to change environmental factor over which we have limited control, nor can we change our genetic makeup. However, making informed choices about diet can help level the playing field when it comes to feeling better, looking good and being more active. That is why Green Centre
for alternative medicine practitioners is taking the lead in training, skill acquisition and capacity development, and empowering healthcare providers with modern bio-technological equipments aimed at analyzing, improving and giving health advices by recommending natural alternatives towards the attainment and maintenance of sound health, we create a synergy between the Orthodox practitioners and Naturopaths in order to advance the cause of Natural /Alternative Medicine Practice.
